01. About

I started out in IT support and custom application development, and that's where I picked up Python, Linux, and the habit of automating anything I do twice. These days I work hands-on as a network technician, which means cabling, switch and AP deployments, and tracking down why a link is down.

My goal is network engineering. I spend my off-hours in a home lab practicing routing protocols, segmentation, and network automation. Away from the keyboard, I'm usually rock climbing, mountain biking, or in the garden.
